Requirements:

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to relax and fill out an intake.

Quiet Please:

To maintain relaxation, we ask that you turn off all cell phones. Emergency calls can be directed through our front desk.

We are unable to provide services to guests accompanied by children. Children receiving our services are more than welcome. For the safety of your children and the comfort of other guests, this policy is strictly enforced.

Cancellation Courtesy:

Because your services are personally reserved for you, we ask that you notify us at least 6 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. If a cancellation is made with less than 6 hours notice, Body Wisdom reserves the right to charge 50% of service(s). NO SHOWS will be charged at full price and Gift Certificate(s) will be voided.

Our Staff:

Melissa Wright, LMT

Melissa has been practicing since 2000. In addition to Swedish/Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy, Melissa is trained in medically directed massage therapy that focuses on restoration of clients’ range of motion. Melissa believes in the body’s innate desire and ability to heal itself. Whether it’s helping to restore a client’s range of motion or to simply restore balance after a hectic day, Melissa is proud to be a part of the healing process. She especially enjoys performing deep tissue massage and helping clients learn more about how their bodies move and can stay healthy. She is a graduate of Core Institute in Tallahassee, Florida.

Jenny Sweeney, LMT

Jenny is a licensed massage therapist who recently relocated to Tallahassee from Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Corti Institute (2010) and also is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She holds a B.A. in English from Villanova University (2007). Jenny's experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Trigger Point, Reflexology and Pr-Natal modalities allow her to enjoy working with a wide spectrum of clients. Through understanding the human anatomy and each individuals needs, Jenny is dedicated to helping clients reach their ultimate health and wellness goals.

Rachel Tellers, LMT

Rachel is "the Jill of all Trades". She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and moved to Tallahassee at the start of her college years. Rachel is a licensed Cosmetologist, a certified Personal Trainer, and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She prides herself in each of these experiences and their multi-facets' of the human species: mind/intellect, beauty/attractiveness, and the uses of the physical body. But Massage Therapy is her passion and her background has created her unique style. Her goals are to free her clients from pain and increase range of motion. Rachel looks forward to being an asset to your health and well-being.

Amber Adair, Aesthetician

Amber has been practicing since 2003. Amber believes that a regimented skin care routine coupled with quality products is the best way to achieve lasting results. She is a certified facial specialist and has studied extensively with the CosMedix skin care line in customized facials, body treatments, and Correct Peels. Amber has also studied with Lori Nestor of Tu’eL, and is a waxing specialist offering a wide range of facial and body waxing services. She is a graduate of the Florida Academy of Massage and Skin Care in Fort Myers, Florida.

Nicole Coletti, Aesthetician

Nicole is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School in Orlando, Florida. There she studied the anatomy of the skin and received her certification in aesthetics; which she has been practicing since 2007. She is experienced in waxing, facials, peels, body treatments and wraps. Nicole also specializes in make-up artistry and eye lash extensions.

Taylor Whiting, Office Manager

Taylor is from Tallahassee and is currently attending Tallahassee Community College where she is getting her AA Degree to transfer to Florida State University College of Medicine. Working at Body Wisdom allows her to meet new people which is something she loves!

Brier Mason, Front Desk

Brier is currently attending Tallahassee Community College. She is from Michigan and moved here when she was 6th months old. Brier attended Lawton Chiles High School and cheered for five years.
